Cream Cheese Chicken

Okay so if you are like me you love cream cheese, and you love chicken :) So a few months ago I found this recipe that puts them together in a yummmmmy way. I have already passed it along to friends and family so I thought i would share. I am SURE it is not lowfat so if you are trying to be careful of that then this might not be for you! Although you could probably make some adjustments.

What you will need:
A crockpot (I don't know what size mine is but if I did I would tell you because it works perfectly)
1 package of Chicken breasts (approx. 4-6 breasts)
1 package of dry Italian dressing mix.
1 10.5 oz can of condensed cream of chicken soup
1 8 oz package of cream cheese
1-3 tbs of butter (I use 3 b/c I think it makes it richer and buttery-er but the recipe calls for just 1)
salt and pepper to taste

what to do:
put the cream of chicken soup in the crock pot, and then fill the can 1 time and put that in as well. Then add the Italian dressing mix and stir it around so it gets all mixed up good. Salt and pepper you chicken the way you like it put it in the crockpot. add butter a tbs at a time and don't put it all in one place. dice up the cream cheese and distribute evenly throughout the crockpot. Then put the lid on and let it cook! If I am cooking it on high I cook it for 4-6 hours, and if on low then 8-10 hours.

serving suggestions:
Serve it over rice (I like the Uncle Ben's 90 sec garlic butter), Or over mashed potatoes, or over noodles.
I also try to serve some kind of veggie with all of our meals I have found that steamed broccoli works well with this dish!

Enjoy! Let me know what you think!
